This policy explains how subscriptions, pre-orders, and cancellations work.

Subscriptions

Ciao Cara is a recurring subscription experience.

When you subscribe, you agree to receive:

  • monthly letters
  • monthly postcards
  • occasional curated inserts

based on the plan you select.

Billing

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually (depending on your selection)
  • Your payment method will be securely stored and automatically charged
  • Charges will continue until your subscription is cancelled

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time.

  • Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing cycle
  • You will continue to receive any deliveries already paid for
  • We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods

You can manage or cancel your subscription via your order confirmation email or by contacting us directly.

Founding & Promotional Pricing

If you join under a special or “founding reader” offer:

  • your pricing will be honored for as long as your subscription remains active
  • if you cancel and later rejoin, current pricing will apply

Annual Subscriptions

  • Annual subscriptions are billed upfront
  • These are non-refundable once purchased
  • However, they may be transferred or gifted to another recipient upon request

Pre-Orders

From time to time, we may offer pre-orders (for example, prior to launch).

When you purchase a pre-order:

  • you are reserving a future subscription or product
  • your payment may be taken upfront or at a later date (as stated at checkout)

Cancelling a Pre-Order

  • You may cancel a pre-order before it has been fulfilled
  • Once fulfillment has begun, cancellations are no longer available

Changes to Subscriptions

You may request changes to your subscription (such as address updates or transfers) by contacting us.
